About Us
I grew up in a family of textile professionals. I carry the genes of a father and an uncle who have proven themselves worldwide and are recognized as master tailors, and a mother who is a master embroiderer. In a way, you could say this profession is in my fabric. I was introduced to the workshop and store around the age of 4-5, and towards the end of middle school, I started spending all my time outside of school working. I first touched the garments, fell in love with the fabrics, and held my first tape measure at our store on Istiklal Avenue. At that age, I learned how to turn cotton into thread, thread into fabric, and fabric into a suit, step by step and stitch by stitch.

I find it exhilarating to help people make a statement through their clothing and to bring their dreams to life. I have never viewed this process merely as a job. My passion for art and design has allowed me to practice this profession with joy for many years.
Over the years, drawing on my experience and expertise, I founded the Okan Ateşci Tailoring brand. Guided by the belief that anyone can look stylish with the right fabric and stitching, we continue our production processes with custom designs and unique, handmade products. We combine our custom design philosophy with healthy, high-quality fabrics to create exquisite pieces where every detail is meticulously crafted. Each of us is unique and special.
